Lauren started her career as a fashion and beauty influencer whilst studying fashion communication at University. With a background in photography and a natural flair for creative direction, it wasn’t long before she was working full time as a blogger for reputable fashion brands including: River Island, Miss Selfridge, Ted Baker, Ralph Lauren, Karen Millen, Oasis and Warehouse as well as beauty brands such as Bobbi Brown, Nars and Estee Lauder.
After coming to terms with her ten-year struggle with Anorexia and Bulimia, Lauren decided to use her platform to document her recovery, with a message of positivity and encouragement, for anyone going through similar mental health difficulties. Throughout lockdown, Lauren has supported the online support service SHOUT to spread the message that people with mental health struggles are not alone. She has also featured in a BBC news article about the negativity of diet culture.
